The Office of the Ombudsman was created to provide additional support to residents with unresolved concerns. The ombudsman is an independent, neutral agent who will listen to understand the issues, research and identify root causes, share information, and mediate issues between customers and departments in Maricopa County.

Please be sure to provide sufficient information so we may begin to research your concern. Include the following information in your request for assistance:
Contact information Address and/or parcel number for the property of concern Tracking numbers (if applicable) The reason for the inquiry

Please submit your request directly to the ombudsman representing the departments listed below. For all other departments or concerns:

Assistance through the Ombudsman Office is an informal, alternate dispute resolution channel. After researching a concern, an ombudsman may offer a recommendation; however, the department has final decision authority.
