Donations
Thank you for thinking of us and donating to MCACC's shelter pets. The care we are able to provide is made possible through support of community members like you.
Donations are accepted at the West and East Shelters during regular business hours, through the mail, or online. Donations made to your community shelter may be tax-deductible as long as they are given for public purposes and not used for the payment of licenses or fees. MCACC is not a Qualified Charitable Organization (QCO.) Please consult your tax professional with questions.

In-Kind Donations
MCACC accepts new in-kind donations to benefit MCACC shelter pets, including supplies and equipment.

Please note that items do not have to be purchased through Amazon; they can be purchased online through any website and shipped directly to MCACC through the mailing address listed above.
Always high need: Our shelters can always use the following items (new items only, please):
- Dog collars
- Dog leashes
- Dog enrichment items and treats
- Hot dogs
- Durable toys
- Puppy pads and newspaper
- Fleece blankets
For the health and safety of our shelter pets, as well as for infection control purposes, we do not accept any used items (ex: toys, blankets, beds, food (opened or unopened), medications, or medical materials).
If you would like to make a donation of used items, dog/cat food (opened or unopened), we ask that you please consider donating these items to one of our many local rescue partners.

- Additionally, for non-pet-specific items please consider donating to Arizona Humane Society’s Thrift Store program, or your closest St. Vincent de Paul, Goodwill, or Salvation Army thrift stores. MCACC does not have thrift operations and cannot utilize used items.
