WIC Appointments are Now Available by Phone, Video Chat, or In-person
Even though we are still doing most appointments over the phone or on video chat, in-person appointments are now available by request at most of our clinics.

What Does WIC Provide?

  • Free nutrition and breastfeeding program
  • Experts in nutrition for pregnancy, breastfeeding, infants, toddlers, and preschoolers

  • Referrals to other community resources

Who is WIC For?

  • Pregnancy
  • Breastfeeding
  • Those whose pregnancy ended within the last 6 months
  • Primary caregivers of infants and children under the age of 5

Income Guidelines

  • Amounts based on income before deductions
  • Those with SNAP, TANF, or AHCCCS automatically qualify, but you don't need to have these services to have WIC
  • If you are pregnant, the unborn baby is counted

    as a family member

How to Apply for WIC

Visit a clinic near you to apply (walk-ins are served after previously scheduled appointments).

When you visit, please bring the following items:

  • A form of identification (for each person applying) —like a photo ID, birth certificate, or immunization record
  • Proof of address—like a current state ID or utility bill
  • Proof of income—like the last 30 days of pay stubs or a letter from AHCCCS, SNAP, TANF, or Section 8 housing
  • Recent height/length, weight, and hemoglobin from medical provider OR you can come to our clinic for your appointment
